How to Download a Software Image to a Cisco 2600 via TFTP Using the tftpdnld ROMMON Command – Cisco Systems

Recently I ran into a need to upgrade the IOS on one of our routers.  After finding out that the flash memory was to small for the image, I ordered and installed a larger flash memory module, then used this procedure to upload the image.

    Same problem happened to me!!!

    My 2610XM router in my Cisco CCNP Certification rack got crashed after an IOS upgrade via TFTP (not enough memory) . I was searching in net desperately how to restore back the old Cisco IOS back using RAMMON.
